Where We Live

New York City

NYC

Our apartment is in the northernmost neighborhood of Manhattan called Inwood. With diversity, culture, history, opportunity and adventure, New York City is our favorite place to be. We take advantage of the parks, museums, and landmarks as much as possible, which are either a short walk or subway ride away.

Some of our favorite places in the city are Central Park, Bryant Park, Washington Square Park, Fort Tryon Park & The Cloisters, The Upper West Side, Korea Town, The High Line and South Street Seaport. But sometimes we feel like staying local in our neighborhood and strolling Inwood Hill Park, Isham Park, or strolling down our local neighborhood streets, checking out the stores and eating at our favorite local restaurants. We even enjoy simply hanging out in our apartment, reading, relaxing, watching Netflix, and playing with our cat Max.

Inwood Neighborhood of Manhattan

Inwood is a great place to raise a family. With tree-lined quiet streets, the neighborhood feels more like the suburbs, and sometimes you forget you're still in Manhattan. Our apartment building is on a cul de sac street with a large community garden and park at the end. There are many young professionals with young children living in Inwood. We love the neighborhood and think it's a great place for kids.

There are many playgrounds, softball fields, basketball and tennis courts within a short walking distance. Inwood Hill Park offers cool hiking trails in dense, wooded forests, complete with caves dating back to Native American times and plenty of nature to see along the way.
