Our Story

We both grew up in the Midwest. We met in 2000 while in law school in Michigan, but soon realized law school wasn’t for us. We both began working full time and in 2004 we got married. In 2006 we moved to the east coast for better opportunities and to be closer to family.

David works in research finance and Andrea works in the trade finance software industry. We both have secure careers and David recently obtained his master’s degree.

We've always wanted to have children. Shortly after getting married Andrea started developing reproductive health issues. Over the years we watched our siblings grow, get married, and have children of their own. Ultimately Andrea had to get a hysterectomy in 2015.

She is healthy now and adoption is the option in our hearts to have a child. Andrea always had adoption in her heart from a young age. Her mother tells us how she remembers when Andrea was young telling her she wanted to adopt a baby when she got older. We have prayed about it and believe this is the plan God has for us to complete our family.
